A wide selection of original works, direct from the artist
Why choose a unique piece by Kira Köntges?
If you love fairy tales, magic, fantasy, or motifs inspired by nature and animals, you will find the perfect artwork for your home here in my shop. My work often centers on the awakening of nature.
My art is very dreamlike and imaginative. Most of my paintings radiate a sense of miraculous enchantment, emotion, or gentle comfort. They serve as visual escapes from the often gray or stressful nature of everyday life, as colorful whimsical daydreams.
Every painted canvas tells its own story and has been crafted with a great attention to detail.
My paintings invite you to linger and explore; they are filled with hidden gems designed to spark your imagination. Each piece becomes a personal experience: an invitation to lose yourself within it, discover various interpretations, or even find your own unique story reflected in the art.
Which rooms are the paintings suited for?
In general, these paintings fit into any room, the choice is entirely yours! HOWEVER, I can offer a few recommendations (in fact, below each artwork’s description is a suggested placement, along with the reasoning behind it).
My paintings are particularly well-suited for living rooms or bedrooms. Wherever you wish to create a special, inviting atmosphere, an original painting can elevate the space.
Some pieces are playful, focusing on charming animals. Many children are delighted by these works, making them an excellent choice for a child’s room or any creative, whimsical corner of your home.
