I am working to make my website, "Kira Köntges Art," as accessible as possible for people with disabilities.

 

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee absolute accessibility, but I am working on it with great care.

What web accessibility is

An accessible website enables visitors with disabilities to use the site with a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This is meant to be achieved, for example, through the features of the system powering the website and the use of assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

I work with the WCAG guidelines to make this website as accessible as possible.
As part of these efforts, I have, for example:

  • Used the accessibility checker to identify and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the website language

  • Defined heading structures across all pages of the website

  • Added alternative text for images

  • Adjusted my color combinations to meet required color contrast standards

  • Reduced the use of motion elements on the website

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

It is possible that the accessibility of certain pages on the website depends on content that is influenced by third parties rather than by me. Should this be the case, I cannot guarantee that these pages will comply with any specific standard.
